Why can’t I see added photos (items) when editing a simple page? For some reason I can’t see them, even when they are there. See for example: Henri Barbusse (1873-1935), French communist writer | Jacobi | Curatescape Trial

I do see an image on that page, so maybe you got it working? In any case, the theme does support using images on Simple Pages, so if it’s not working, you might want to double check your HTML syntax and/or make sure your HTML is not being filtered (see: admin/settings/edit-security).
